Thai Airways is to operate its first double-decker Airbus A380-800 on several of its major intercontinental routes at the end of this week.
The famous aircraft will carry 507 passengers, 12 seats in Royal First Class, 60 seats in Royal Silk Class, and 435 seats in Economy Class.
From 27th September the aircraft will operate services between Bangkok and Hong Kong, and from 6th October it will also extend to flights between Bangkok and Singapore.
Thai Airways will also service flights with the Airbus A380-800 in mid-December 2012 between Bangkok and Frankfurt, and Bangkok and Hong Kong.
January 2013 will see further flights with the aircraft between Bongkok and Narita, and Bangkok to Paris in February 2013.
No date has been set for the services between Bangkok and London, but it is expected to be some time within the next 18 months.
