Easyjet increases Manchester presence
June 3rd, 2011 by elisa

Easyjet is going to increase its presence at Manchester Airport over the next few years, it announced this week.

A sixth aircraft has already just joined its Manchester fleet and a seventh is due to arrive in time for the 2012 summer season.

The airline plans to fly from Manchester to Madrid, Berlin and Belfast this autumn with more potential new routes still being analysed.

Easyjet now offers 26 routes from Manchester. Andrew Harrison, Manchester Airport’s managing director, said: “This agreement will see more based aircraft at Manchester, equalling more destinations and further growth in the future.”
