Easyjet Rescues Ryanair Passengers
September 8th, 2010 by elisa

EasyJet jump to the rescue of Ryanair passengers left stranded after Ryanair decided to suspend its flights from Belfast City Airport (see previous blog here).

Easyjet is offering passengers a fee of £10 each way to travel on the flight routes that overlapped with Ryanair’s. To claim the rescue package passengers must go to the Easyjet sales desk at the airport on the day of departure to be accommodated on the next available flight.

Passengers must prove that they had originally booked with Ryanair by providing their original booking reference number, booking confirmation and boarding pass to the sales staff.

The airlines’ operations overlapped on flights to and from Belfast and Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol and London Stansted. The offer is for these routes and for passengers travelling between 31st October and 30th November (inclusive).
