Travel comparison site Skyscanner has hired a new team of market managers to further push its international sales.

The company, which has just been voted third fastest growing technology in Scotland by the Deloitte Fast 50 index, has new managers for the US, Canada, Ireland, Russia and Scandinavia to complement existing managers for UK, Spain and Germany.

“Skyscanner is growing in all areas: user traffic, revenue and staff. Now we need more space to allow us to continue our growth as we move into new key markets and build on the Skyscanner brand as the first stop for independent travellers around the world.” said its CEO Gareth Williams.

Skyscanner has websites for 24 different countries with a choice of 20 languages and 65% of traffic comes from outside the UK.
