Ryanair made its inaugural flight from London Stansted to Agadir in Morocco yesterday, following up new services from the airport to Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. They are marking the inaugurals by giving away one million free seats on selected routes for travel across Europe.
The Agadir service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays and the Gran Canaria flights will head out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Lanzarote service will operate Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
“Ryanair will continue to grow as other airlines pull routes and reduce capacity. With passengers becoming increasingly price-sensitive, Ryanair will continue to expand so that even more passengers can take advantage of Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges.” said Ryanair’s Laura McCormack.
Seats on the new routes from London Stansted to Morocco and the Canaries start at £33 before midnight on Thursday 29th October.
Good stuff. I think the sale you mention ends at midnight tonight. They seem to have these quite often. During the last one, I managed to get flights to Oslo (from Liverpool) for 1p, all in. We’re then flying back to Edinburgh for around £5— so a three-stop trip comes to £5.
The only problem is that Torp Airport is 110KM from Oslo. You can get to Oslo by bus, train, or car hire. The cheapest is bus, but it still works out at £32 return each… blowing the Ryanair prices out of the water!
